My guess is 250K - 350K with 300K being close to the actual number. People should recognize Jacobs as the biggest threat that GGG has faced so far in his career, but at the same time realize that Jacobs has been dropped by guys with much less power than what GGG will be bringing to the ring.

The only thing I know is that I'm watching, I never understood why PPV numbers are relevant to fans, especially people that don't even live here in America.

Despite Jacobs cheating his way to a multi-million $ purse, make no mistake about it. Jacobs is as bad of a seller as Lemieux. Nobody in the world knows who he is. He may help sell tickets at MSG since he's a New Yorker, but Jacobs doesn't move the needle for the PPV buys.

The only thing we'll see is whether or not Golovkin's increasing popularity has translated into more PPV success. I expect a slight bump to around 200k PPVs. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 150k again, and I'll be absolutely shocked if he gets above 300k.

                  150k
There's no "new" fans to have... this fight is not the one to all of a sudden break GGG into the 300k "superstar" range.

Canelo vs GGG is THE fight

                    Less than 200K.

Will be less than 200k. Boxing is on the down and even if Floyd came back he wouldn't get 1mill.

That's the reason why GBP is trying so hard to get Chavez Jr to fight Canelo, it's one of the only fights that they can fool Mexicans into buying.

Hats off to the UFC for making fights happen and you don't get fake titles or to fight bums, at very best, you may get one fight where you can title fight somebody not in top 5.
