Stevenson is an exciting fighter and I believe he's better than his management thinks he is but that being said, come on!! Since he won the title his management team has done all it could to prevent any real risky fights. While Stevenson talks smack in the media his management team avoids every named fighter that may cause any risk. Frankly, Stevenson is getting to be another Butterbean attraction in the Light Heavyweight division

Stevenson mentioning that he beat Chad Dawson like Ward didn't. You can claim Dawson was drained and all that other hoopla, but if Dawson wasn't making any excuses I'm not sure why other people are.

Also, there is a difference between being the best (or lineal champion) at your division and being considered for P4P king. Example: Roman Gonzalez is not necessarily the best at his new division, but given his rise through multiple divisions, he is high on a lot of people's P4P lists. Stevenson isn't in P4P consideration due to a lack of activity and quality opponents. Ward (or Kov) doesn't need a victory over him to get P4P consideration.

However, I would like Ward to fight Stevenson, whether he beats Kov in the rematch or not. It would be an interesting fight. I think Ward would win easily though. The matchup plays more to Ward's favor...
