a stevenson ward fight is simply impossible to make(good for wards health) because both guys think they are a-side floyd mayweathers. only reason kov-ward happened is because kov was willing to take a lot less. both guys are going to want more than 5 million and neither guy is popular at all so it cant happen.

Part of the money could've came from Roc or Main Events. But for both fighters to get what they both got that licensing fee had to of been more than the 2 mil they were ready to put up for Stevonson vs Kovalev.

Stevonson didn't sign with Haymon until the Fonfara fight. Stevonson and GYM didn't like HBO's licensing fee offer and brought Haymon in to try and get more from HBO. So I don't know what interview you're talking about.

I stand by what I said. And BTW, there's a difference between 'Stevenson would likely be outboxed by Ward' and Ward easily beating Stevenson. As for Russell/Loma on Showtime, that doesn't negate Duva's decision to not mess with the HBO contract. It was her decision, a safe one. Just because another promoter(s) decided on a different route, that doesn't make her decision less a valid one. She isn't as reckless as many promoters in taking chances. It's her management style. Nothing wrong with that.
