Marquez has a history of hating on Canelo. 165 is for Chavez to make not for Canelo. Plus, the fight with ggg will be at 160

I think top reason to fight Chavez Jr for Canelo is probably because he is alot easier to negotiate with.
Chavez agreed to a catchweight before negotiations even started. where GGG wont budge on weight or money.
          Plus it's a huge fight

Canelo clearly going after the money.

I want to see if they will continue to rank Canelo so high after all these subpar bouts.

I must admit that if Jr comes in some type of shape this would be a fun affair

It's interesting how Marquez is perceived to be a hater but he is merely mentioning facts when it comes to Canelo. You have to understand that Marquez comes from an era where Mexicans didn't play these catchweights games or have diva demands. They fought the best opponents available and didn't duck. The opposite of what Canelo has done recently.

GGG is a better fighter who happens to pay substantially less than Chavez Jr. I don't know why that's so hard for JMM, or anyone else to understand. It's a no-brainer.
Fans like you are part of the problem. Your analysis is correct in the first paragraph, but your acceptance of the bull**** in the second paragraph is baffling. You view everything from a cold business perspective. Where is the fight fan in you? Don't you wanna know who is the best fighter? Canelo's ducking antics and other such bull**** is killing the sport yet you defend it.

they box for the money. i'm honestly surprised this fight hasn't happened yet. the only reason it hasn't is that chavez is a cruiserweight. if they market it correctly it will be one of the biggest sporting events of the year in mexico, and a very solid ppv draw with mexican casuals.

This coward drops the belt talking about how he is not ready to fight at MW, and 4-5 month later ready to fight Chavez at 168 ??? This ain't about the money either, GGG bout would bring much more money onto the table. Canelita is TERRIFIED of GGG
