    jfc........

people were 1st crying themselves to death saying may/pac will never fight each other. THEN, when they did agree, people cried about it being too late. lo and behold, it is the highest grossing ppv in boxing.

3g has a fight RIGHT NOW
    alvy DOESNT
the plan is for 3g to fight alvy in sept should they win.

to carry on about alvy picking sol over 3g does NOTHING !
(while ignoring 3g picking brook over any smw goes ignored)

    wtf

Probably because Canelo last fought at 154 lbs, and Jr. last fought at 168 lbs. Assuming they settle on 165 lbs:

      165-154 = 11 lbs
      168-165 = 3 lbs

I say it's more of a want so that he could still comfortably drop down to 160 lbs after that fight.

If Chavez Jr. gives up 3 lbs, you have to admire him because it's 3 lbs more than Canelo was willing to give to Khan or Golovkin to Brook. Khan went up 8 lbs, Brook went up 13 lbs, and Canelo would still be going up 11 lbs.

Anyway, that's just my thought process. I'm not Canelo, nor am I a member of his team. I'm just a boxing fan speculating about things I know nothing about with other boxing fans on the same boat.

Actually, not true. People were clowning it, mostly Canelo people.

Of course, GGG didn't drop his belt to avoid anyone and claim it was over a few pounds. But whatever, let's hope the winners finally meet before everyone in the next generation goes over to MMA.
Suddenly that's ok. It's bull crap. Let's take a look at something, how many CW fights has Golovkin fought. How many has Canelo fought.

Everything else is just rumors. Froch saying he Dud ask for it, ggg saying they didn't. Funny how Froch only did that after Ward did it.

If course it helps. If I keep getting burned by the same girl, I'm not answering the phone when she says she's clean this time.

Who says they are fighting in September. Only hear that from Goldenboy, who doesn't exactly have a great track record on the subject.

Canelo is going up to fight a guy who wouldn't be able to win even if he wasn't half dead.. Canelo isn't small, dude is heavy as ****.

Canelo fought at 154, after refusing to test. But whatever. The thing is, Chevez won't have much of a shot anyways. Canelo takes no fight with guys his size unless they are compromised. Kirkland was small, and dude still was out 18 months.

Not he is going to fight a severely drained Chevez. What is the point. To trick fans out if their money without taking a risk?

how does it help ? is the dj fight off ?
as ive said before, we pick and choose how to blame.

id rather give gbp a chance to make fools of themselves than listen/read to jmm bltch and moan.

Marquez still carrying around feelings when it comes to Canelo - Seriously man, this level of emotional b!tchassness is embarrassing.

It's pretty simple; Canelo is moving up, they have stated as clear as can possibly be that Golovkin will happen in September and so with the May fight they are taking an opportunity to fight a MUCH bigger man in an enormous fight that will also further strengthen their negotiating power.

Why would anyone have any interest in a Chavez Jr. fight? Chavez Jr. has been a complete underachiever in the sport, doesn't train and will basically just go on a diet and train to make weight and nothing else just for the check.

Canelo will easily outbox Chavez Jr. and may even stop him.

I have 0 interest in this fight - other than giving Mexicans an excuse to get drunk and order the fight - I really don't see how any hardcore boxing fan would really care about this fight.

It has circus act appeal for those who enjoy circuses.

Since Martinez beat him, everybody wanted Jr...

The only Canelo's problem will be that he will fight Jr at LHW eventually...

Marquez totally correct. It is very weird that Canelo said he can't make middleweight, yet he wants to fight Chavez jr at 165lbs? Canelo walks around probably at light heavyweight or cruiserweight.

Tell you something about Froch, not once when he talked about GGG did he ever mention he'd been asked for a catchweight. He's only just started with all that. He thinks GGG should move up, but he wouldn't move up for a Cleverly fight because Bellew used to bash him up in sparring.
