Man, anybody making excuses for Canelo at this point is just delusional. Dude and his people are chicken****.

Comparing GGG not fighting a much bigger Ward to Canelo not wanting to fight a guy in his own division is bull****.

Andre Ward was the champ at 168, Golovkin at 160. Golovkin is not obligated to fight somebody in a higher weight class.

However, Canelo is the lineal middlweight champ and is actually much closer to a light heavyweight in size when he comes to the ring, so he's not actually being asked to "step up" to fight Golovkin, just fight somebody his own size or still smaller than him.

There's no other fight that could pay him as much as a GGG fight, which is the biggest fight to be made in boxing.

2 years, embarrassing? Now you're exaggerating, it was a short but good fight where both fighters were buzzed and hurt.

Calm down with all that hyperbole. You realize both Canelo and Kirkland are 154 fighters and both made weight without any problems. They both were in good shape.

Please don't be ridiculous. Do you even know how old Marquez is? HE IS 43 YEARS OLD FOR GOD SAKES!

Not everybody is as crazy as Ali was, or the likes of Mosley, Hopkins, Roy Jones Jr. are today, making total spectacles of themselves, knowing they are way past their prime, forget their prime, way past being healthy enough to keep risking their health and life, when the only possible outcome, if they fight a top fighter --as Manny still is in this case-- is a brutal loss.

I don't want to use pejorative adjectives to describe how foolish those people wanting to see JMM fight Manny again are. The mere idea is ******. Manny would totally massacre JMM, send him to the hospital. Even Bradley can do it now easily, not to mention any 2nd-tier boxer who is still in his prime.

Please stop the insanity already, JMM-Manny is a totally ****** fight, JMM IS 43 YEARS OLD AND HE WILL ONLY GET EVEN OLDER!!!!

You are the one talking BS. JMM KO'd Manny when he was 39, already past his prime, super-slow, he was totally being beaten up, about to be sent to the hospital. He made a fool of himself later on against much lesser opponents such as Bradley and even much worse, Alvarado. He was younger and still an active fighter and he looked like sh%& (his age at that time) and now you want to put him in front of a Manny who is still a very dangerous and 100% in shape fighter, much younger than JMM (Manny is 38 and has always been a physical fighter unlike JMM, he never had good legs, he relied on his excellent technique and hand speed/reflexes, all that is gone now).

Because Manny got ****y, frankly acting ****** in front of an ATG with great punching power, he got sent to the canvas TWICE in that 4th fight. Had he been smarter, it was only a question of time to KO Marquez for the 1st time in his life.

But there's a HUGE DIFFERENCE between an already slow, past-prime 39-year old and a retired, way past his prime 43 year old with knee problems to boot. Marquez, as a boxer, is irrelevant now, ANYONE can defeat him now. Manny would send him to the hospital for sure.

Keyboard warriors like yourself don't mind making up idiotic match-ups using the NAME of a way past-prime ATG like JMM vs. a currently active and successful fighter as Manny.

If it was YOU the 43-year old risking his life for nothing, I'll bet you'd never ever step foot in a ring vs. Pacquiao and for this matter, no one else, not even a drunk chump who never ever stepped on a ring.

I'm done with this ridiculous discussion. You sound like a troll, so I've wasted enough energy already. So keep "LMFAO" in utter ignorance. It suits you well.
