He made a fool of himself later on against much lesser opponents such as Bradley and even much worse, Alvarado. He was younger and still an active fighter and he looked like sh%& (his age at that time) and now you want to put him in front of a Manny who is still a very dangerous and 100% in shape fighter, much younger than JMM (Manny is 38 and has always been a physical fighter unlike JMM, he never had good legs, he relied on his excellent technique and hand speed/reflexes, all that is gone now).

Because Manny got ****y, frankly acting ****** in front of an ATG with great punching power, he got sent to the canvas TWICE in that 4th fight. Had he been smarter, it was only a question of time to KO Marquez for the 1st time in his life.

But there's a HUGE DIFFERENCE between an already slow, past-prime 39-year old and a retired, way past his prime 43 year old with knee problems to boot. Marquez, as a boxer, is irrelevant now, ANYONE can defeat him now. Manny would send him to the hospital for sure.

Keyboard warriors like yourself don't mind making up idiotic match-ups using the NAME of a way past-prime ATG like JMM vs. a currently active and successful fighter as Manny.

If it was YOU the 43-year old risking his life for nothing, I'll bet you'd never ever step foot in a ring vs. Pacquiao and for this matter, no one else, not even a drunk chump who never ever stepped on a ring.

I'm done with this ridiculous discussion. You sound like a troll, so I've wasted enough energy already. So keep "LMFAO" in utter ignorance. It suits you well.
stfu, first y ou was why would he risk fighting again, than I pointed out how he fought alvardo lmfao and than you come back with a damn essay trying to word your way out of the Bullshit I tripped your ass in. GTFOH.

Chavez brings very little skill with him but for whatever reason his Mexican fanbase will pay to watch him on PPV. Canelo fought Lara. Lara didn't have anyone willing to pay to see him fight but was one of the toughest opponents out there. Chavez has one of the biggest fanbases and brings relatively little risk. Its not right, it is boxing. At least Canelo has taken high-risk low-reward opponents in Trout and Lara so go ahead and cry.
Uh....didn't his people offer 164 to Ward and his [Ward] people said no. Froch wanted GGG at 172, GGG said yes so Froch retired, LMAO.
He also said that when Lara moves up to 160, they can fight. Has Lara moved up yet?

Why does everyone care about how many ppv's and how much money Canelo will make in the chaves fight. Get off his d!ck. The better fight is with ggg point blank period and now nelo is being exposed of cherry picking.

Canelo sees Chavez, Jr. as beatable than GGG.

Except they did, he was heavily criticized on here when he was linked to that fight (I also wasnt happy with GGG potentially fighting Chavez). I could be wrong but I believe team GGG was at least planning to fight him at 168 instead of a catchweight.

Forget about money.... forget about market value.... forget all that shet. Let's all be honest here. Canelo rejected going up to 160 to fight GGG, while Fishnets talked shet about letting the fight (cough) "marinate". If GGG wanted Canelo, he had to come down to some catchweight below 160. Now Canelo is perfectly willing to fight at 165 against JCC Jr??

Not only that... Canelo fans had the BALLS to criticize Cotto at the time for supposedly ducking GGG, when the whole world knows Cotto doesn't have MW size, as opposed to Canelo, who can fight at MW and even SMW. It's a miracle Cotto fought Canelo as well as he did, given the size disparity.

Let's call a spade a spade. Rejecting GGG at 160 and now jumping at the chance to meet JCC Jr. at 165 is the biggest ***** move in the history of boxing. Nothing more... nothing less.

Jr. quit on his stool you said it, Fonfara didn't legitimately put him out of there, neither is corner.

Lets not forget one hell of a arse beating Mr 97K as you put it, brings to Canelo's table. Lol And I seriously doubt that fight would be more lucrative than Canelo vs GGG
