Canelo deserves more for sure jr doesn't even take the sport serious his last fight was in Mexico no hbo idk how many ppl tuned in and went to the event but I'm sure it wasn't something big if Canelo would've fought in Mexico it would've done way way better than jr. Take the money or kick rocks

If they were scared they wouldn't be in the game. But there is a business side to this before they lace'm up. Each side trying to get the biggest piece of the pie they can, normal procedure, Canelo the a side, made offers both to ggg and Chavez that would be their biggest purses ever... I don't know why they don't sign. Canelo is in a great position to say take it or leave it to both. He is 26 years old. And plenty of other good fighters are out there for him to chose. He's earned the right to pick his opponents like manny and Floyd. At a much younger age then those two greats. When it's said and done, Canelo in my opinion will be an atg as well... He is well on his way. Young bull, veteran, shot caller at 26! That's rare. Only greats do that
I understand your point but you're over valuing Canelo. His ppv numbers as the a side in fights are nowhere near what mayweather and pac were doing. They were around a million in buys consistently. Canelo didnt even break half a mil in either of his last 2 ppvs as the a side. His support is dwindling and he's gonna have to step up and make the ggg fight or he'll be considered a fraud by anyone who isn't a biased Mexican fan of his.

You Would of got the 2 highest paydays of your career had you stayed with top rank/hbo, and fought GGG, instead you listened to haymons list of lies and now your fighting in front of a Torta Truck outside a Mexican sweatshop.
Chavez got 40 million just for signing with Haymon, so nah the chavez's dont want a payday, they just dont wanna be disrespected by being lowballed

very possible outcome. But even if Canelo fights on regular HBO, he has youth on his side. That's an aspect that many of us overlook. Ggg is now 35, jr hasn't been relevant in sometime. Canelo didn't do as well as he would've like, but what do you expect fighting smith and khan? Smith is unknown and khan, we all knew how that was gonna end up and to be honest the May vs pac "fight of the century" was so bad that it hurt anything on pay per view... Canelo not doing May and pac numbers, but when he does fight ggg or jr... It will be much better. He needs them but they need him more. So, that's why he is in position to say take this offer or leave it... Ask yourself this, if not ggg or jr for Canelo then who? But more importantly of not Canelo for ggg or jr then who? They can fight each other and do decent, but won't do more than each fighting Canelo. Golden knows this we all know this. If I know it, all of us know it. Canelo just playing his cards right: I don't blame the Man. Ball is on ggg and jr court to step up and sign. Take the fight, beat him up and become the man!!! That's the real prize

Chavez doesn't deserve the fight but he's still worth a lot of money. $5 million does seem a little bit low.

                Mexican Ratings War

Chavez Jr vs Sergio Martinez, had about 16.2 million Mexicans watching his fight, registering a 13.5 rating and 34.2 share for TV Azteca.

Alvarez vs Floyd Mayweather, had about 22.1 million Mexicans watching his fight, and 5.9 million television households, garnered a national rating of 41.1 points, which equates to a 77 percent share
Chavez jr should $10 -$15 million for this fight

I thought Chavez jr said the other day he's asking for a little more money and figuring out the weight but now his dad is saying he's being offered crumbs? I think his dad is just talking **** as ploy to get more money.
