to be fair the fight is a favor and blessing for chavez jr, canelo is good without it however chavez jr has a very tough road ahead of him.

Because Canelo-Chavez is probably a big PPV fight. Two biggest Mexican names. This could sell a mil. Chavez probably deserves 10 mil anyway.
