Kinda curious how keyboard warriors come on here and question Froch credibility to judge Trip resume? Wtf is your credibility to judge Froch or Trip resume?

Only way to defend Trips current weak resume is to attack whoever questions it. If he wants to be great...Stop hiding behind your promoter and trainer. Fight a fight in unfavorable conditions where you aren't expected to win. Show the world you are a bad MF by beating or challenging other bad mfs. Stop chasing pure money fights versus Froch and Chavez. Fight Alvarez on Alvarez terms. Do something to justify the "regular polish" that your NSB fans give you on every article with your name in it.

The guys aren't USED to boxing and moving with that much weight and also never been hit by dudes who spent their whole life at said weight. *** GGG weighs around 170 which is LHW. Why aren't u ok with calling him out??? This is why a lot of ppl call BS on GTards.
Either you're dense or you're trolling. 170 is what weight? It is not his weigh-in weight. He weighs in at 160 and fights at 170. Many LHWs weigh in at 175 and fight at 185-190. Surely you understand that?

Where did I say that I was cool with the Brook fight? It was a result of making a decision between no fight or Brook after the Eubanks lost their pen. It's always interesting when a lower weight fighter jumps up to challenge themselves but I'd much rather see GGG fight Canelo/Jacobs/Eubank/ or move up definitely to 168.

'....He has built a legacy by knocking out people he was expected to knock out......'

He's expected to knock everyone out; Saunders, Lee, Eubank, Jacobs, so that's not going to change is it ? Who else is left at 160 ?

Even if he cleaned out 168 after that, the same thing would be said, 'who did he beat ?'.

Whats really funny about this, is that Fighters who alot of you backed and thought to be credible, when they speak the truth about some other favorite fighter...They instantly lose credibility, Froch has been honest about everything in his interviews, You heard from the Horses mouth what was actually offered. And that cant be the truth, g's team has been proven to be liars (154-168 anyone, about the Ward offer, Canelo's offer sheet was already on the table waiting for them to sign, and they were telling you guys another lie.) You guys are mad at the person who tells the truth and not the proven liars) Look at the whole Floyd vs Pac fiasco with the lies we've now learned that were told by Arum..."mr today im telling you the truth...People keep believing the known liars over the people that are known for being straight shooters.

This the kind of dumb, blind loyalty Canelo and Oscar exploit to hide the truth. Canelo handed over his WBC belt and ran away when GGG there, ready & waiting for an offer to fight.

De La Hoya was the 154 champ, Floyd went to him. Canelo made a exemption because Floyd was the man at that time. ggg ain't making moves for anyone, but is calling out a retired guy and took the hell off from Ward. We probably won't the Jacobs fight because his team won't negotiate worth a damn.

RIGHT! Wheres the uproar about g not signing to fight.....There was an uproar when you guys thought Canelo was the hold up....but NOTHING NOW! You guys cant figure out that youre being hypocrites about this fighter. Turns out people would rather pay a good boxer to actually BOX and win, than some guy who goes out to ko bums in 5 rounds....The same casuals, as you call them, who were in the millions for Floyd consistently, most of them know who g is because he and his team keep bringing Floyd up. But they arent paying for a ko artist fighting easy comp, but just last year they sold over 4mil, but hardly any of those people dont pay for g. The fans have spoken g is not what they want. They want BOXING! Floyd has the TOP 1-5 IN PPVS. DYLON, DYLON, DYLON, DYLON, DYLON. (classic making the band reference and chappelle show skit) but they have shown that they will pay 100 dollars for floyd/pac but not 40 dollars for this guy. Apparently more people believe what Froch is saying cause they arent paying for his ppvs. FACT

Froch fought the best his division had to offer, back to back, and only Ward did he not beat. Kessler he lost a close fight and won a close rematch.

It's easy now to look back and laugh about 'his best win is Lucian Bute!!', but at the time, Bute was undefeated and considered a very good fighter. In fact the Super 6 tournament was originally planned as a tourney to decide who would fight Bute, IIRC. Everyone thought Bute was coming to 'expose' Froch. Froch absolutely battered him.

This happened time and again with Froch. He took fights where he was the underdog-people wrote him off as slow, clumsy, easy to hit. He took dangerous fights and won, sometimes in devastating fashion.

In comparison, has GGG ever had a fight where he's not been the absolute nailed-on favorite? Has he ever taken a fight like the Bute or the Taylor fight for Froch, whereby he was a big underdog? No, he hasn't. He has built a legacy by knocking out people he was expected to knock out.

He has very average names on his resume (except the WW Brook) but he hasn't once stepped up and taken a real test like Carl Froch did. You can fool yourselves into thinking otherwise though.

Right now, GGG is trying to coax a retired fighter who hasn't fought since May 2014 back into the ring. That says it all for me.

It's annoying that I have to put up a post like this, but it seems most GGG fans only have about 2 years worth of boxing knowledge at best.

Would Froch beat GGG if they fought now? I doubt it. He seemed like he was starting to slip a bit in the Groves fights, with the inactivity as well, and his age, GGG would have to be the favorite. Which is exactly why he's calling him out- another fight where he's expected to win.

Wind the clock back to a 2012-era Froch and GGG would get flattened IMO.
So fighting "the best the division has to offer" is ok for Froch, but not GGG?

How exactly does that work, or even make sense?
