You just said they're counted 2 to 1 so the numbers are really half. So 70k and 322k, we know Brook/Golovkin did over 500k so the numbers on that site are bull****.

After I clicked the link you posted about how BARB obtain their numbers I did a bit of browsing and saw some comments posted by members at Boxrec saying that the figures they publish for PPV fights are for viewers, not buys, and the usual formula applied is 2 viewers per buy.

Whatever, the numbers still show that Brook/GGG sold a ton more than Kel's previous PPV fight, over 4.6 times more, in fact.

The numbers are wrong they don't show buys and they're estimates anyway. You can't use them as evidence.

Good point, Kovalev had all the selling points he was higher in P4P rankings and he held all the titles.

Brook was the A-side. Golovkin will only ever be PPV in the UK fighting a British fighter. Brook vs any other title holder would be PPV in the UK. Brook-Vargas was going to be PPV.

Brook-Vargas was to be included on Fury's undercard.
