Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Coach: If No Canelo Fight, It's Not Because Of GGG

LAS VEGAS Abel Sanchez isn't certain who Gennady Golovkin will fight next, much less whether Canelo Alvarez and Golovkin will share a ring come September. Sanchez is absolutely sure, however, that if the highly anticipated Alvarez-Golovkin pay-per-view fight doesn't materialize at the time designated by Golden Boy Promotions founder Oscar De La Hoya, it won't be because Golovkin doesn't want the fight.

"The thing is, if they wanna make the fight it has to be something that's beneficial to both parties," Sanchez said. "Beneficial in a way that Golovkin is satisfied with what he gets..... if Golovkin says (what's proposed is) OK for him, then that's OK. But you've gotta do it both ways. Both guys have gotta be happy with what they're getting."
Apply that logic to Danny Jacobs, you lying sack-of-****.

Can't even share an opinion without directly contradicting yourself.I don't give a damn about money, i'm speaking from the fans perspective. Boxers can choose to fight who they want, just don't bullshh the fans. Fans need to remove themselves from the internal of a fight being made and just demand it with their wallets. I guarantee you both Golovkin and Canelo would notice if their numbers dip 30 percent in viewership. I couldn't give a fk about money because honestly we aren't privied to the information but since we are on the topic, $10 million while typically a good offer is an insulting one in this case. Basically saying you get 2/3 of the gate and I eat up all the ppv revenue.Comment

It seems you don't understand that GGG is already an A-side fighter against any other fighter in any discussion. Canelo fight is viewed by him as the reward. Even if he beats Canelo, there are no other fights that will earn him more than he is earning already. All other fights are not superfights in terms of money (Ward? 160K buys? Really?), while Canelo is for glory and BIG money. The only fight which GGG would take for whatever money and shot at superstardom would be Mayweather fight, but it doesn't seem realistic.
neither did your postComment
