PPV buyers are still suffering from a Floyd/Pac hangover and the Kov/Ward numbers weren't good. Ten million dollars for a fighter with exactly ZERO quality wins is one helluva offer.

If ten million isn't enough for g string(at almost 35) to finally face a quality opponent, what is that price tag?

How do you know GBP is going to make $50 million? Do you know how much the PPV needs to sell to even break even after all the expenses and purses?

You tell me... Where is he going to make close to $10 million for a fight? Who will guarantee him $10 million for a fight?

If he is so confident that he will beat Canelo then take the $10 million and beat him. If he wins the fight then he will make more money in the long run because he will become a bigger name and a bigger draw. Fight a rematch with Canelo and get more money, or move on and make more money fighting someone else.

Your logic doesn't make sense because when your opponent is the draw then he gets to dictate the terms. It's simple... take it or leave it.

Why do you think fighters fought for a couple million against Mayweather and Pacquiao when they were making so much more than them for the fight? The exposure was worth the risk.

Lil G and his team need a reality check because they're not as big as they think. When has he ever sold a PPV as the big draw and done well?

Look at what Manny and Floyd did with DLH. They gave DLH everything he wanted even when DLH was getting way more money than them for the fight. DLH helped Floyd become a bigger star with the fight, exposure, and Manny became a bigger star after his fight with DLH. Both guys got a lot of money after the DLH fight and continue to be a draw.

Look at what Canelo did with Cotto. He let the diva get whatever he wanted so the fight went down and Canelo won the fight. Canelo ended up making more money after the fight and became the bigger draw. Now you see Cotto begging for a rematch because he knows Canelo is now his only chance at one last big payday.

At the end of the day if you want the recognition and big payday, you need to take the chance of losing because the reward is big enough to outweigh the risk. You need to take risk if you want to be a successful fighter.
