If Canelo was actually interested in fighting Golovkin he would've when he was the mandatory to his belt which he vacated. This all comes back to money though which I don't care to talk about. K2 catered to GBP and Canelo in good faith and got played, but people often forget that.

It seems you don't understand that GGG is already an A-side fighter against any other fighter in any discussion. Canelo fight is viewed by him as the reward. Even if he beats Canelo, there are no other fights that will earn him more than he is earning already. All other fights are not superfights in terms of money (Ward? 160K buys? Really?), while Canelo is for glory and BIG money. The only fight which GGG would take for whatever money and shot at superstardom would be Mayweather fight, but it doesn't seem realistic.

You just kilt your own argument by stating "Ggg is the A-side" in any other discussion. THIS ISNT "ANY OTHER DISCUSSION" and this isn't let's negotiate time. This isn't loefler vs whoever Willie Monroe, D-Wade, or Rubio's promoter. Its just amazes me that a few years ago that GGG was all about fighting everyone at anytime. Money was never an issue..then Sanchez gets involved and its all about money and calling out all the big names. I get it man you want the man to get paid but you have to fight names! and if you don't you need to sacrifice yourself and earn it the hard way. Fight the names/go up in weight and get ok money and eventually you'll be the guy getting paid cleaning out 168.
