Hey slowboy, you must be the only person at this forum who didn't read what Eubank's own promoter, Eddie Hearn, said about the crazy demands Eubank Snr was making that killed the fight with GGG.

Eg, Eubank's dad wanted to dictate the purses for the undercard fighters, and he was insisting that Barry McGuigan did the TV commentary for his son's fight, even though McGuigan now runs his own promotion company and doesn't work for Sky.

And that came Eddie Hearn, not Loeffler, like you said in an earlier post.

ABSOLUTELY ... IF you ignore a few important facts.

Like ... Canelo was ordered by the WBC to fight GGG next after winning the belt from Cotto, and asked permission to make a voluntary defence first, promising it would be GGG next, if permission was given.

After winning his voluntary, against Khan, Canelo called GGG into the ring and again promised to fight him next, this time in front of 50,000 fans in the stadium and millions more watching on TV.

Canelo then vacated his title and fought Liam Smith instead, and Oscar put out a statement saying he would not fight GGG before Sept 2017.

I know facts like those are difficult to ignore, but you guys are an inspiration to wannabe internet boxing trolls everwhere ... you can do it. You just need to try very, very hard. Though being a hypocritical, immature moron helps, of course

Ridiculous comparison... This is similar to Mayweather initially offering PAC 40 mil....then 100 mil wen he decided he really wanted to make the fight.

Canelo is destroying his legacy by ducking GGG.

So when Canelo dropped it, team GGG lost all their leverage on the fight negotiations. .So it's A side vs B side now.
Like I said b4 - the experts and insiders know 10 mil low ball offer is another way to avoid fight! Just like Floyd initially offering PAC 40 mil.

stop pulling figures out of your ass

if that fight makes 100mil, and I highly doubt it..... the networks will take half, leaving 10mil for lil'G and 30-40mil for Canelo

                  and the reason why is.....

BECAUSE CANELO IS A DRAW, AND LIL'G IS NOT..... Canelo draws 4-5 times more than Golovkin does

                  hope that helped

Golovkin should ABSOLUTELY take the 10mil, and finally land his first meaningful fight

This is a clear duck. Canelo was way better than this. As much as i like canelo this is a duck.

How do you know GBP is going to make $50 million? Do you know how much the PPV needs to sell to even break even after all the expenses and purses?

You tell me... Where is he going to make close to $10 million for a fight? Who will guarantee him $10 million for a fight?

If he is so confident that he will beat Canelo then take the $10 million and beat him. If he wins the fight then he will make more money in the long run because he will become a bigger name and a bigger draw. Fight a rematch with Canelo and get more money, or move on and make more money fighting someone else.

Your logic doesn't make sense because when your opponent is the draw then he gets to dictate the terms. It's simple... take it or leave it.

Why do you think fighters fought for a couple million against Mayweather and Pacquiao when they were making so much more than them for the fight? The exposure was worth the risk.
