Does anyone actually think ward wouldve fought kovalev for the 1-2m? Who wouldn't fight kova for a guaranteed what...7mil? Farrrrrrk I'd get in the ring with kova for 7mil... money talks bull**** walks
And how much did he get fighting Chavez, Froch, Canelo, & Cotto? Ward got the same fighting Kovalev as GGG got fighting Brook. Ward-

What's your point. If anything you just added to the reasons why the Ward fight was ******. 2 mil to climb out of his weightclass or 5 mil to fight Kell brook at middleweight.

I wish Golovkin fought Ward, I do. I've been of the belief that he would have beaten him at 168, but realistically the fight didn't happen for legitimate reasons. No one leaves their weight class to fight a nobody (and that stands, proven by the Ward-Kovalev numbers) for meager pay.

Ward said in an interview around the paul smith fight that he could barely get near 170 lbs in camp. Ward struggles to cut to what Golovkin weighs at his heaviest.

Not sure how this information is pro-GGG or pro-Ward. It's just information suggesting the fight is unlikely to take place.

"lmao lmao fanz lmao" calm down you nervous fruitcake
Ward doesn't walk around 190 like most lhws, he's closer to 180, but keep making him out to be a giant lmao! I can't help but laugh, you golovtards are too funny.

Ward was 173 2 weeks before his fight with Smith, he can make 168 but he'll have to drain himself like lil g does to make mw. Ward even gave him the weight advantage at 168, lil g would't have to drain himself at 168 while Ward would, lil g still ducked! What a bytch lmao!

The proof is in the result, Ward is the light heavy king, lil g is fighting prisoners (literally)

Golovkin would bring a world of trouble for Ward. I know a fight between them is unlikely to happen soon. Golovkin has to clean out his division first. I still think Ward won't want any part of Golovkin when the time comes. Just sayin.
Based off of what fight? Brook? Lemiuex? Geale? You do realize you watched the two best fighters in the world face each other?

My point is you never put all your eggs in one basket. Or as Loeffler likes to say they always have a plan B. So I guess plan B was Wade & Brook

The Plan B was obviously mandatory Tureano Johnson. Then they Saunders, Eubank, before Brook stepped up trying to one-up Khan.

              But just skim the facts.

On what planet would it have made sense to start the conversation at 168? Then Ward wants 172. I swear it seems as most people here have never negotiated a single deal in their entire lives. They have no concept of how it works......

Hint: A successful negotiator does not concede every point to the opposition at the beginning of any talks
They never negotiated. Loeffler said no thanks and never sent a counter offer. The 164 came from an interview with Rafael when he asked Loeffler what it would take to get the fight done.
