I wish Golovkin fought Ward, I do. I've been of the belief that he would have beaten him at 168, but realistically the fight didn't happen for legitimate reasons. No one leaves their weight class to fight a nobody (and that stands, proven by the Ward-Kovalev numbers) for meager pay.Last edited by SplitSecond; 11-29-2016, 04:53 PM.

Not sure how this information is pro-GGG or pro-Ward. It's just information suggesting the fight is unlikely to take place.
"lmao lmao fanz lmao" calm down you nervous fruitcake
Ward was 173 2 weeks before his fight with Smith, he can make 168 but he'll have to drain himself like lil g does to make mw. Ward even gave him the weight advantage at 168, lil g would't have to drain himself at 168 while Ward would, lil g still ducked! What a bytch lmao!
The proof is in the result, Ward is the light heavy king, lil g is fighting prisoners (literally)

Originally posted by Graz View PostI agree. After watching the Ward/Kovalev fight, I'm convinced Golovkin would beat Ward. In my opinion although Ward is very skilled he was exposed against the power of Kovalev. Golovkin would bring a world of trouble for Ward. I know a fight between them is unlikely to happen soon. Golovkin has to clean out his division first. I still think Ward won't want any part of Golovkin when the time comes. Just sayin.

On what planet would it have made sense to start the conversation at 168? Then Ward wants 172. I swear it seems as most people here have never negotiated a single deal in their entire lives. They have no concept of how it works......
Hint: A successful negotiator does not concede every point to the opposition at the beginning of any talks
