He's a HOF no doubt. Not an ATG which is a shame because I think that more falls on how his career played out with inactivity. Had he stayed active he has the skills that it's a possibility he could have built a career for himself that maybe could have been considered an ATG career. And that's coming from a guy who will quite vocally claim he is not a fan of Ward.Comment

Ward has beaten the top guy at 168 and 175, he challenged the top guy at 160 who clearly did want it and on Saturday nights evidence it is understandable why GGG refused to move to 168.
Ward is an absolute lock for ATG, had Kovalev had won I would have been strenuously backing his inclusion but as it happened he failed. No shame on him he's just not got the mental edge Ward has, personally I put it down to having the best trainer in the sport.
If Kovalev has Hunter in there he would have won.Comment
