Duva must be on her period right now...There's a bit too much whining coming from that whole side actually. It's sad that anyone (including duva) doesn't know better than trying to base a fight on punch stats alone....not to mention that Ward was still more accurate, but Kovalev should just go get in the ring and shadow box for a while before Ward gets in there next time, then his numbers will be even higher!

The punch stats were pretty even. And Ward was quite a bit more accurate. Bad argument on Kovalev's behalf.

Rematch is the only thing that can settle the debate of who won the fight....but honestly,Kovalev won round 10...I have watched round 10 for more than 5 times and I am convinced Kovalev won it but I dont know why all the judges gave it to Ward.I suspect the jeers from the pro-Ward crowd had a factor.

Kovalev landed more power shots in almost every single round.

Ward only out jabbed kovalev in round 7 and 8 and im talking 2 more jabs each round. half of wards jabs were touch jabs literally.

I changed my stance on round 11. Kovalev won that round.

Its as if kovalev got not credit for short rt hands and right uppercuts .

Kovalev is gonna beat ward again in the rematch.

I had it 116-111 Kovalev but I don't have a problem with people scoring it closer. As long as it's in favor of Krusher.

Listen, I have even thought of it in this way the last few days; we would likely have gotten a rematch anyway, it's a possibility, and hopefully we'll get a clear winner in the 2nd fight. Then we can put all this to rest.

You're saying any sane person has Kovalev winning but clearly and evidently that's not the case because plenty had Ward winning including a quarter of press row.

I have no problem with Kovalev winning wide, Kovalev winning close or Ward winning close because that's the kind of fight t was.

Rematch is a must.

Kov won round 10 and you could give him 12 as well....bottom line is the judges gave Ward EVERY close round which you don't see often. They must have liked something he did just a bit more than what Kov was doing.... While not a robbery I think the wrong guy got a very close decision. Good. Wes we will see the rematch in probably 6 months... Ward showed he has a great heart coming back from that KO early and Kovalev showed he can fight neck and neck with the best in the world. Look forward to the rematch.
