I agree 100% with chavez sr.
The man had a great style and the ability to beat floyd on the inside. Most real non biased boxing fans think chavez sr sparring partner jose kuis castill beat floyd fair and square in fight 1.
All floyd did was make excuses in why he lost.
Just like after the maidana 1 fight. To floyds credit he adjusted and beat them both fair ad square in rematches.
Chavez sr was levels above both maidana and castilloComment

It is possible , but None of that matters ,pernell was a southpaw with a good jab and body shots
And totally diferent style.
Most people view whitaker a superior fighter to floyd.
Pernell didnt rely on distance and clinching as a form of defense like floyd. He relied on headmovement and footwork in the pocket.Comment

Tough match up for Sage Mayweather as Chavez wouldn't be bothered by his punches and would just make him fight and slip some shots coming his way!
No doubt Floyd would be in with a real live one but something tells me @ 140 is where peak Floyd was at while I believe The Legend's peak was @ 135!
Going with Floyd by close decision, the man is a great boxer and is the best at adjustments on the fly in a fight! Doesn't take away anything from a great fighter such a Sr.Chavez!
Great fight and one that would've sold like hotcakes!Comment

Can you remind of the result of Chavez-Camacho, since, you know, "He had trouble with fighters that moved, were quick & with good boxing skills".Comment
