I agree 100% with chavez sr.

The man had a great style and the ability to beat floyd on the inside. Most real non biased boxing fans think chavez sr sparring partner jose kuis castill beat floyd fair and square in fight 1.

All floyd did was make excuses in why he lost.
Just like after the maidana 1 fight. To floyds credit he adjusted and beat them both fair ad square in rematches.

Chavez sr was levels above both maidana and castillo

That refereeing wasn't what I'd call fair though.

Closest he gets to beating Mayweather is through Roger.

Maybe,or maybe he goes one better than Castillo.But when people talk about Chavez winning just on heart and compare his skills to Canelo you have to wonder when they started watching him.

Certain demographic is gonna come in here and talk about how Meldrick Taylor was beating him.

Taylor had better handspeed and more power than Mayweather, and he also wasn't a defense first type guy like Mayweather started being at 140. A Prime Chavez Jr. would have wipes his arse with Ricky Hatton.

People cling on to Castillo 1 too much. 1 Mayweather won the first fight and two it was his first time moving up in weight.

Since the first fight, he hasn't been bullied in the ring.

Floyd benefitted from marketing towards the tail end of his career. He won all of his fights to get to that point. And even during the marketing era, he beat some amazing fighters. So yes he could lose, but I'll take Floyd's resume over anyone on the p4p list right now and it's not close.
