Calazaghe is severely underated imo. his BHOP win alone is way way better legacy wise compared with Floyds PAC + shane + Baldomir +judah. or a weight draained chad dawkins.

Mayweather fought a much higher quality of opponents. He fought more prime fighters. He dominated two divisions better than Calzaghe did 168. He has easily the best win between them. The retirement doesn't mean **** because Mayweather's resume is so much better.

FFS.... Joey Zaggs is one of my 2 favorite fighters (with Hearns), but he fuqed up his legacy by not traveling sooner, taking poor comp for years when he wasn't traveling. You could argue about the fights he took when he was in the spotlight but I'll leave that alone for now. I blame a lot of this on his hands deteriorating later on but regardless, his entire resume is not better than Ward's right now and Andre will easily pass him up with a Kovalev win. Golovkin is no where near either.

So he resorts to ****ting on Ward and irrelevant half-truths or lies like "Joe was a real fighter" and "he didn't foul." He can't even put forth an actual case for Calzaghe that can't be torn down even easier than he does Ward.

Boxrec. The site that has Mayweather as the greatest fighter ever. Surprised you would think about them at all with that kind of ranking.

Calzaghe fought very, very few top 10 ranked fighters. No one's talking organizational bodies, we're talking Ring ranked top 10 fighters. It's not that hard to look up. His WBO belt wasn't even considered a legit one during his reign. That's why Lacy was so hyped going into their fight, because Calzaghe was the definition of an unproven paper champ hiding in his home country.

You **** on Sullivan Barrera when that is exactly the level of opponent Calzaghe spent most his career beating. Only they weren't even ranked like Barrera was. Ward has more wins over good opponents.

Hopkins, Jones Jr even though he was old. He beat whoever he fought. Kovalev and Ward are praised for beating Hopkins and Kessler, why isnt Calzaghe? He beat both when they were younger

1. Mosley was inactive and old when floyd defeated him. Margarito was tailor made for shane to look good. Shane eats those kind of fighters.

2. the dela hoya split decision.. LOL....man that was closer than it should have been...considering delahoyas "loss" to sturm and mosley and BHOP. getting a Ko for mayorga doesnt make u a world beater.

3. Cotto one of my favorites was post plaster margarito and was post KO pacquiao. So hell NO he gets absolutely minimal credit....considering how Good cotto was still able to make it close.

4 CAnelo was way to green and was in a catch weight. canelo should be in the MW division even before the floyd fight.

5. Coralles was just prosecuted for domestic abuse....was clearly not focus when he fought floyd

6. Castillo beat him.

7. Hatton was never a great 147 fighter ( as evidence with lazcano) was a good 140 fighter doe ( defeated kotsya tzsyu).
