??? The Hug weight Champion??
The master of the hit and grab???
I've counted more minutes of him grabbing and holding a boxer than actually fighting.
He's got NUMEROUS penalties for excessive hugging.
Lennox was good but his whole plan was punch once, grab, put all your 250lbs on the shorter fighter, wait until ref breaks, rinse and repeat. By round 6 when the ref FINALLY starts calling for points your DONE! Gassed out. Try fighting with a flak jacket on that weighs what your weight class is. That's how it is to fight Lewis or Klitz. It's cheating legally.Comment

Im not gonna diss Ward anymore...but I have to ask why does Ward need to be taken out? He's been a non-entity since Brandon Rios was undefeated. I could see setting up Mayweather or Fury or Wilder etc but Ward is barely hanging on to minor celebrity status at this point.Originally posted by champion4everIt's an open secret that Ward is being set up to fail.Comment

It's an open secret that Ward is being set up to fail. So, no Floyd didn't have to pick up the phone to mention that fact to him because he already knows it. So what else is new? Gennady Golovkin is the John Cena of HBO boxing. Therefore, they are actively seeking to bury Andre Ward, so that GGG can become the new face of the company.Comment

Ward came back at 172lbs... So when you as HBO can either line him up with 160 golovkin or 175 kovalev... What's the conspiracy? ******ity for calling that a conspiracyComment

The reason why is because he's undefeated, in the top 10 P4P list and an American fighter. These are the reasons why they want him out the way. Nowadays, HBO is branding a whole new marketing trend of skilled, fundamentally sound, imported fighters from Eastern Europe with fair skin, in order to help boost their television ratings.
That was the point Mayweather was attempting to convey and also a point, in which Andre Ward is very uncomfortable with speaking about publicly. Andre notices the elephant in the room as well. However, at the same time, he realizes that in order for him to become a mainstream PPV crossover star, he cannot afford to marginalize his casual fan base by being a polarizing figure.Comment
