I honestly think if it was up to GGG he would done what was necessary to get the fights he wants.
The problem is he has a manager and promoter that seem to severely overestimate his value.
It has caused him to lose out on legacy fights and the opportunity to build his value. Floyd had to make concessions to ODL even though he was doing solid PPV numbers at the time. Same with Pacquiao who stock was rising after the first two Marquez fights. For some reason GGG thinks he can skip this step and deserves star money when he doesn't bring anything to the table that PPV fighters can't get elsewhere.
