Why Golovkin doesn't get respect

Degale and Ramirez you wimpI like fighters who stay in their natural division more than guys who hop around opportunistically. It seems the "Broner method to ATGness" only exists on this forum, but you guys are big fans of repeating each other.
Factor in 168 being an abandoned wasteland with names like Badou Jack at the top of the heap and the situation becomes pretty transparent. People won't consider him "tested" until he loses via insurmountable size disadvantage, sans any context.
Doesn't seem like you've watched many of his fights.Comment

Who cares how he wins fights? As long as he wins, how it happens is irrelevant. Ali had to lay on the ropes intentionally for more than half of the fight to beat Foreman and he's called a genius. Floyd runs and counters for 12 rounds solid and is a genius. Why can't GGG be a genius because he figures a guy out and when he feels like they can't hurt him, he generally smashes their f@cking head in. That's what I like in a fighter. GG fits the bill and until he cleans out and is absolutely undisputed at one weight class, why should he move up? He's not even the lineal champ yet. This thread is an EPIC FAIL.Comment

A class fighters had years to man up and fight him. He won't bend over to anyone.Comment

He doesn't get respect mainly out of hate. Golovkin has a good amateur record, he beat Lucian Bute by KO and Andre Direll during his run as amateur. He boxes when he wants to and brawls when he wants to. You havent seen much skill from him because its not needed due to the limits of his opposition plain and simple. Now, get one of these miracle man, Cinnabum and Billie jean in there with him and he'll show you what he can do.Comment
