As long as he keeps winning, his greatness can not be denied. It would be a shame if it was.The guy is one of the best examples of why boxing is a sport, not just a wild street brawl. If he adds Jermain Taylor's name to his win column, that can only help.

Boxing is entertainment, Winky does not entertain. Fighters like JCC, Tito, ALi, Foreman, SRL, etc...etc are reasons to love the sport not a guy who blocks 1000 punches and throws 15 per round. Boxing is a sport and sports are made to ENTERTAIN, winky does not entertain.

I agree MASS PRIDE, true boxing fans and historians know that and to ppl that say he's some what boring that's boxing. I realize and agree that he's not the most exciting but I recognize his skills and talent. Peole don't criticize B Hop for his defensive and tactical fights but they do with Winky, it's not like he runs are something! And the object of any sport is to win he doesn't wanna be Micky Ward and give exciting fights to make ppl happy and then lose.

Winky was a more exciting fighter, but he was knocked down like 5 times in one fight by Vazquez, after that fight he became a different fighter. I recognize that he has talent and has great defensive skills, but when it comes down to it, Boxing although it is a sport, it is entertainment.
