Would anybody care that much about a Cotto rematch?

    Lemieux:

Nobody would care about Lemieux. GG has already beaten him.

    Saunders:

Saunders would be a great fight, but that would only be relevant if he hadn't already lost to GG.

    Jacobs:

    As above.

    Lara:

Would anyone be that interested? Will Lara move up to MW?

    Eubank:

That could be a great fight.

All things considered, he hasn't got a lot of great options. They certainly aren't as good as GG's.
Why does GGG beating them make them irrelevent?

Manny is actually pretty realistic. I wouldn't want to see a Cotto rematch but I would like to see Lemieux-Canelo. That would be a good fight to watch.

I am all for him negotiating but he needs to take the money if it comes down to it. 10 mill is more than enough for 36 minutes of fighting.
Boxing was bigger in Pryor's day, I agree. But $3m in the early 80's isn't the same as $3m today.

If you think $10m is more than enough for a 36 min fight, why aren't you criticising Oscar for preventing the fight from happening by wanting significantly more than that?

What do you mean why does it make them irrelevant?

Who's going to pay good money to see Canelo fight BJS and Jacobs if GG has already beaten them?

Lemieux would be a good fight, but it will flop in PPV figures.

I don't think Manny's realistic, but you never know.

whether he takes it or not, the fight is still scheduled by september 2017, so why should he take it? that's another year of building up, another ****** move

offered a flat fee but the fight's on september 2017?

"Gets to him first" is a good one. Again K2 needs money for that.

Your mistake is where you think I'm a Canelo fan. I'm disgusted with boxing as a whole right now in that respect. We were robbed of one of the greatest fights of all time because of greed.

A million dollars shouldn't stop a fight from happening. Also 3 million then is like 10 million tops today. And they split that two ways so it still comes out to way less than what Canelo and GGG make.

Lara was already beat when Canelo fought him. Khan was ktfo twice when Canelo fought him and still sold 600,000. Miguel Cotto lost many times before Canelo etc.

We can talk all we want about details but Canelo is very young and is the A-side, GGG is mid 30s and is the B-side. You might dislike Oscar, think him unethical as I do, but he's done a better job than Golovkin's team.

Virtually everyone called Oscar out on his BS offer, from JMM, to Arum, to Schaefer.

And this fight is 12 months out. No serious negotiations are going to happen until March or April at the earliest.

I would think that GG would go back to the U.K. for a unification against BJS, which would do great business.
