Didn't you say Ward would NEVER fight Kov.??

A 40 or 30% cut gonna land ggg a higher purse than a flat fee..

Unless they offer 13 mil+ flat fee
Golovkin has done nothing to merit upside.

Floyd shared the upside with Cotto, Alvarez, Pacquiao, Oscar, Hatton, etc because they brought value; Floyd didn't share the upside with Maidana or Guerrero or Berto.

Why folks try and sell Golovkin like he's this massive star (yet K2 is still penny pinching on the Jacobs fight, while also letting other fights fall out over not being able to come up with the revenues) is beyond me.

Jacobs would be no problem. He already asked the WBC for an interim fight before GGG.

But it's a moot point anyway. Oscar has already made it clear that Canelo doesn't want to fight GGG till next Sept.

I don't think they would be complaining if they were to get the flat fee plus some upside. From what I've made of it, the flat fee doesn't include any of that, which is why there are problems.
flat fee doesn't include sponsorship money etc the upside would only kick in if did certain amount of ppv and after golden boy and HBO etc took they cut, with a percentage split every penny is divided up so if doesn't make any money then triple g only walks away with 10mil no upside

                    A) Canelo is the A side
                    B) GGG is a major B side who brings real value
                    C) Canelo can't get anything like the money with anyone else who isn't FMW
                    D) If, for example, they do a 66/34 split Canelo will get a bigger payday than any other payday he can possibly get anywhere (other than FMW) It could very well be >$66m. That is MASSIVELY more than any other fight.
                    E) the $10m is a joke designed to take the pressure off Canelo for walking, it isn't a serious off

I'm seeing you over here dissecting deals over the difference of a couple million dollars which won't mean **** in the long run. If he beats Canelo's ass it's a moot figure and he knows that, his coach Dirty Sanchez knows that, and his Tom Loeffker knows that.

That whole camp is so full of ****. And you know that.
                      Lmao....

Name a fighter that took took a flat fee for the biggest fight of the year???

Lmao at you guys thinking a few million dollars isn't nothing to argue about... Like any of you would take less for a job in real life....

"I'm a realtor andr will sell this million dollar house but take commission like it was a 100k house, just so I can say i sold a million dollar house"

Why can't canelo just offer 1/3 of the money???

And please tell me the fighter that took a flat fee for the biggest fight of the year???
