I don't see this fight as being any bigger than Canelo vs Cotto and I would bet the numbers will be around the same.

GGG should snatch their hand off if the offer is truly a $10M guarantee and leave all the promo to GBP and Canelo.

If he really thinks it is an easy nights work, then even more reason to take it, rather than holding our for another $2m-$5m and potentially have the opportunity disappear.

What will he make for fighting Jacobs? $1m-$2m?

      65/35. 67/33. Ggg should accept...

Golovkin shoukd just accept whatever the **** he's offered, and get in the ring.

Or he can continue o with his mediocre career, and paydays. Plain and simple.

I'm seeing you over here dissecting deals over the difference of a couple million dollars which won't mean **** in the long run. If he beats Canelo's ass it's a moot figure and he knows that, his coach Dirty Sanchez knows that, and his Tom Loeffker knows that.

That whole camp is so full of ****. And you know that.

I wish some reporter would ask Canelo when he wants to fight GGG and how much is the offer he's talkling about..

Without that info, all the yap yap going on in this thread is pointless.

Let's do Simple Math. Ggg will Stand to make $15-20 million after its all said and done. I'll make it easier for you. Against mayweather, Canelo made $5 million vs mayweathers $40 million. That means they made a combined $45 million which came out to Canelo 11% and mayweather 89% with Canelo bringing 2 JMW belts to the table. This fight also sold 2.1 million ppv's which was the highest sold ppv at the time. Next example: Canelo vs cotto- Canelo made $5 million vs cottos $15 million for a combined $20 million. Do the math. Canelo made 25% and cotto 75%. Are you still with me? Present day Canelo vs ggg. Ggg will make $15-$20 million vs Canelos $30-$40 million. This is all depends on how good the ppv sells. Let's do the math. Let's go low end (ggg) vs high end (canelo). If Canelo makes $40 million and ggg makes $15 million that's a combined total of $55 million. Ggg makes 27% and Canelo makes 73 %. Now let's look at GGG's high end vs Canelos low end. If ggg makes $20 million and Canelo makes $30 million that's a combined $50 million. Ggg gets 40% and Canelo gets 60%. Still following?! Now let's look at both fighters high end. If ggg gets $20 million and Canelo gets $40 million that's $60 million. Ggg gets 33% and Canelo gets 67%. This is as simple as I can explain it so you and every ggg fan can understand. 8 figures does not mean 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,or 9 million. It means a guaranteed at least $10 million right of the back plus a ppv percentage. Canelo took a guaranteed $5 million for cotto and mayweather. He's offering ggg at least double that for a fight that's not guaranteed to sell 2 million ppv's
            Daaaaaaaaaaaamn

pussie g is a fraud and super hypocrite. He cried like a pussie when Canelo fought Khan and called him a business man that's a fact. Pussie g cried about unifying the 160 division more so then business fights and moving around different weights.

He fought Brook after talking shyt about Canelo facts He tried to low ball Jacobs with a 75-25 split yet crying to Canelo about the same thing with money facts pussie g is the B side and $10 million is by far his biggest pay day and a chance to make him a huge star if he can knock out Canelo facts

pussie g is a bytch though! Scared of Lara, petrified of Ward and is begging Canelo for all the money he can get. this dude is a fuucking fraud. He keeps ducking the big tests, name ANY other fighter from 154-160 that would turn down $10 million from Canelo? You can't especially a person who does ****ty ppv's like pussie g.

It's all good if pussie g finally steps up and quits fighting bums and WW's he will get that ass beat. Jacobs, Lara, Ward, Andrade, DeGale, Jack all tap that ass. There is a reason pussie g shows ZERO interest in fighting any of those fighters.

Jacobs/ggg should be a 67/33 split in favor of ggg.. unless they give Jacobs a huge flat fee of 4+ mil

You can't compare a fight that at best does 300k to a fight that does a million in ppv buys.. at worst it does 700k

                STOP !

back the truck up, you missed the point.....

                ..... is Golovkin a top-draw, or not?

IF Golovkin cannot generate enough to pay Jacobs more than "Quillin money"..... then he is NOT a top draw, period.....

..... so, if Golovkin is NOT a top draw, period..... then why on earth should Canelo pay him 10mil?

let me put it another way.....

why on earth would Canelo offer Golovkin 10mil, when Golovkin/Jacobs cannot generate 10mil TOGETHER?

FACT: Golovkin COULD have taken that offer..... but he CHOSE not to

                Golovkin/Canelo is looking more-and-more like a GGG-cashout every day

Son of Sanchez needs to grow some balls like his fellow middleweights and take the damn fight!

Has Triple B not learned that if your not the star in the match up then said star fighter takes over the negotiating and determines things! That's how most legends and HOF's got to the next level!

Very disappointed in Mr. 154-168, hasn't even faced 1 quality opponent and wants to call the shots against the star fighter and face retired welterweight!

The boxing community will soon turn on Son of Sanchez if this falls through as well as the Jacobs fight!

Same people complaining that PBC overpays their fighters wants a > 10m purse for a middle-aged fighter yet to beat or face an elite opponent.
