Remember, Brook was "bigger than Golovkin" so I guess they think he's already fighting larger guys.

    Good analogy.

Almost everyone ggg has fought in last four years has outweighed him. Brook too. Wade/Murray/Rubio/Geale all had size on him. Lemiuex too. But whatever.

GGG is right to complete his goals, and it's working. His brand is growing. Has has the fans behind him. Media loves him and us fair.

Middleweight has always had talent coming from 147-154. Brook was only one with balls to do it, and maybe it's because the money was there.

GGG should break b-hops record, break the MW KO streak, and take the biggest makable fights until he accomplishes this.

If ggg was such a hype job, you'd see Andrade, Lara, Charlo, Charlo, J-Rock all coming to 160 and making sure fans demand they get ggg fight. Each fighter would weigh the same if not more than ggg if they did.

But it's talk. They want ppv money! Yea, ok. Let's talk when these guys are serious, until then ggg is on a mission.

Problem is - and I say this as a big Golovkin fan - that if you come out with **** like this, people are going to expect you to actually prove it.

This. Abel is a great coach (even if he talks too much) and GGG is a great fighter but he´s simply too small to compete at LHW. It´s possible for a defensive wizard like Floyd to beat bigger guys but for a pressure fighter like Golovkin it´s different. Hard to force a good fighter to ropes when they have height, reach and 15 lbs on you. A good LHW always beats a good MW, just like Kovalev has no chance vs Usyk.

There is no reason ggg shouldn't get to do the same. If these guys like Canelo (whose a MW who fights only smaller guys) and Jacobs stay bent on letting ggg accomplish this with little resistance, so be it.

All the MW greats best fights were from guys coming up from 147 and 154. So this talk about that ggg fights smaller guys is all bs hater Shiiit.

Both guys would have a good 15-20 pounds of weight. Ward probably more. He's bigger than Kov, and we don't have much in the way of his rehydration weight, but it's likely in the 190 area. Kov was 186 aginst Pascal and Ward is bigger than him. 174 was ggg highest weight. So he'd be giving up 15 pounds at least.

However, that 15 pounds isn't a lot. When ggg is done at MW I have zero doubt he will move up.

GGG will have to be good to beat either of these guys, they have real size on him.
Several things I disagree with but the factually incorrect thing you said was Ward being bigger than Kovalev. Ward was 185 on the 2nd day vs Barrera and, though I don't have a weight for the brand fight, he looked noticeably leaner. Kovalev has been 186 and 185 in recent fights. Lighter against Chilemba but he was sick in camp. Ward and Kovalev are essentially the same size. Kovalev has had longer at that weight class which is usually an advantage but Ward has had a year to acclimate and I feel that's plenty so no excuses there.

            1) Let's not pretend Golovkin is fighting giants. He has never been dwarfed or anywhere close. He's not a Manny Pac. He's a good size for that class and that's all there is to it.

            2) I'm not criticizing his choices in that statement. I'm commenting on the hypocrisy of Abel and some of the fans. I don't see Genady saying he'd beat Kovalev, Stevenson, and Ward.

How can something be factually incorrect if you're Speculating?

You see Ward and Kov side by side, it's easy to see that Ward is taller, and thicker than Kov. If he was 186 two days out for Sali B, then he could easily be 190+ on fight night. The guy says he struggles to make 175 new. He isn't struggling to take off 10 pounds.

Ward has been as high as 190, the one fight weight I've seen and he was a SMW then. And since he hides his fight night weight, it's probably safe to assume he is heavier than he wants people to know.

Which is also why he and Hunter said he'd be HW champ by 30.

                1. He's not fighting giants, but he's almost always the smaller guy. Murray had a lot f size on GGG. My point is the size differential from ggg to those at 168-175 is no small jump. People compare it to Brook, but it's not the same. Brook was actually heavier.

For ggg to fight a guy like Zurdo, he'all be 20 pounds lighter, much shorter and much less reach. Same with Ward.

GGG would be an average sized JRMW.

And there is plenty of time to test himself, I see no reason to rush it..

                2. People get on Sanchez for talking the same crap all fighters trainers do.

Lara says he'all fight anyone, but ignores Andrade repeated calls for a fight. His trainer constantly says Lara wants everyone. Except the guys in his own class. No one hates on this trainer.

Hunter has said Ward would ge HW champ by 30, but people are not running around demanding he fights Wilder. Hunter still believe eves he can beat the HW (mainly because he knows it wouldn't be much for Ward to get to 200).

Trainer have long served as PR people. They have two very public goals, to hype up the fighter, and to rile up the opposition's fans.

Sanchez: 'Were at 160 so we cant talk about those fights...But Golovkin beats them all'

Does this guy even pay attention to what he just said, with comments like this it's no wonder GGG gets so much hate. Sanchez should keep his mouth shut, if and when those fights come up then he can talk about them. Until then keep quiet and focus on the division youre fighter is actually in.

GGG would be an average sized JRMW, considering all the top JRMW either match or exceeed his rehydration weight. Brook and Spence both make it over 160 when fighting at WW. GGG hardily makes it past 170 fight two divisions above that.

And ggg doesn't really say he'd beat people. But I don't think he doesn't want to test himself.

I'm just saying his team is correct to allow him to complete his goals, fully formulate his brand, and if that leads to Canelo, all the better.

There is plenty of time to test himself.

Sanchez is good at this.if these guys would except the economic reality that ggg isn't a ppv star, few are now, considering the top draw is happy with 300k.
You're getting silly again and deviating from what I said. I gave you facts; Ward/Barrera weight vs recent Kovalev weights. If you refuse to deal in facts, we've nothing to talk about.

Regarding the rest, doesn't change it discredit a single thing I said. Notice that everyone is laughing at Sanchez? Even ggg fans? That should tell you something.
