Why is Roy Jones sticking his nose in GGG business, the man has his trainers and managers and his destiny, let him unify the titles, break hopkin's record and then if he feels like it he can move up OR NOT, thats definatly not Roy Jones Business.

Do you really want to keep putting out fires for the sake of public perception? I'm not even criticizing Golovkin. His path is his own and it's his career. But, why would hardcore fans be so against taking greater challenges? I think Ward going after Kovalev is fantastic, win lose or draw. Am I supposed to think it's a bad thing to seek greatness?
Good post bro. No one should be offended at the thought of GGG moving up. If he doesn't get Canelo soon, there are probably some great fights at 168 and 175. Imagine the options.

Yea, plus, people are sleeping on Canelo. He's very capable of beating Golovkin. I think DeGale and Jack are easier fights. Oscar is going to draw this out another year or so. Golovkin will be 36 by the time he fights Canelo. And, if he loses, everything he's done is forgotten about.
If you move up and fail, people seem to be far more forgiving than if you drag a guy up and he beats you.

I think GGG moving up is inevitable. But I sympathize with his LONG held desire to unify and to a lesser extent to go beyond Bernard's record of MW defenses. He's SO close. It must be driving him and his team crazy. But if they can't get Saunders into the ring then he will probably have to move up.

Gtfo, you don't count divisions if you didn't compete at world class level. Ggg was a Jww in the amateurs against way better comp. So Canelo has moved up from 154 to 155, impressive
