Jones is entitled to his opinion just like everyone on this forum. That said I think Golovkin has no choice but to move up now. I realize his intent is to unify and claim the Division but the contenders in that Division don't want any part of him. As far as Canelo goes he doesn't need to fight him. Canelo already conceded by giving up his belt when he was the mandatory. So not much left out there. Saunders, Jacobs? They don't want the fight, that's pretty obvious. Golovkin may have to either move up or go into retirement.
