At this point, I wouldn't expect Ward to consider dropping back down to fight Golovkin. He needs to be focused on Kovalev, who will give him all he can handle. Now after Kovalev destroys him, then the son of Mr. Ward might decide that LHW is too much for him & move down.

I agree if Kovalev beats Ward, where can he go from there? Rematch might be the best option but if he gets KO'd he might even need to give GGG the catch weight. I give Ward lots of credit for taking on Kovalev he is putting his career on the line.
