The WBA purse bid split for a super champion and a mandatory has always been 75/25. This isn't anything new. That's why it's better to make a deal before it's ordered to a purse bid. If they can't reach a deal, it goes to a purse bid which is 75/25 per the WBA rules.

I think both parties are being unreasonable if they cant meet closer to the middle. If tghis fight falls through because of a purse split that will be embarrassing for boxing and embarrassing for both fighters, especially if they go on to fight bums.
