I have no doubt that Michel and DiBella can talk (either working out a deal to bring Bute or Beterbiev over, or simply package Bizier and Rivas on the show), to find a way to give the card enough value for Michel to take home and find a broadcaster for (Canada Indigo or TVA Sports seem to do good business with Michel)

Jacobs vacates the belt, yet who does he realistic have a chance to fight in his next three bouts?
For a fight on regular HBO, there's been no indication anywhere that Jacobs has been offered $1m, let alone Golovkin being willing to give up a piece of his seemingly guaranteed $2m to help make the numbers work.
If the money doesn't show up in negotiation, Jacobs' camp will look for the money at the bids.

The bid will likely come down to perceived "pain points"; if Lou DiBella is willing to risk some money in the short term (with the DiBella/Haymon relationship being what it is, and a ton of TV-ready fighters coming along ready for the New York market), how is K2 going to respond to $6m being bid, with no deference paid to HBO?
K2 may not care all that much about the fight, but the fight is basically being set as Jacobs' megafight (Brooklyn kid, fighting back from his illness to be the #2 MW on the planet, taking on the #1 fighter at the weight, in Brooklyn).
Bids are going to be interesting

I seem to remember a lot of GGG critics wanting a purse bid so Haymon would win and force Golovkin to vacate. What happened to that? You'd think these guys would be jumping for joy at the news of a purse bid...

Y'all are all getting too caught up in the "Split". It ain't about that. We know from Jacobs prior statements he's not concerned with a "split" he's concerned about the "amount". (Why fight GGG for 2M when I can fight Quillen again for 1.5M yada yada)
It seems to me that K2 could offer Danny 50/50...but when Tom says the total purse is 4M he still wouldn't take the deal.
How much do you think this fight is worth? 6 Million? That purse at 70/30 would be 4.2 for GGG and 1.8 for Jacobs. That's only 300K more than he made for Quillin. Do you think Jacobs and Haymon will go for that?
