I think Jacobs should accept whatever the bid is. He couldn't get it on negotiations so now he's subject the rules of the organization he choose to fight for

    • Ok great, so this gives more reason for them to say Jacobs ducked the fight because he wouldn't accept 25%

GayLoveKin would rather fight another guy on house arrest....loser.

Team Jacobs knew the split from the get-go. If he didnt like it, he should have moved in another direction a long time ago. Now the stage is set to see if he is a man or a mouse. End of.

Golden Boy got N'Dam-Lemieux for just over $100k, and David Lemieux ended up actually making over $1m on the fight (once the Canadian TV money, the Montreal gate money, the fee from FS2, and other revenues were considered).

Not sure why folks keep ignoring that point.
Lemieux is a draw in Canada, Jacobs is not a draw in America.

Its a bonafide duck if Jacobs weasels out now. Theres no other way to interpret it. Unless of course, one is as ****** as you.

only if you happen to be a fanboy b1tch

Team Golovkin could negotiate in good faith in order to make a meaningful fight for Hypekin, but they won't..... they will play hardball and force the purse-bid to get their undeserving hypejob more than he is worth..... just like they tried with Canelo.

wouldn't be surprised if they lose this fight as well...... but they don't care about that..... they can see Monroe II looming, and they know that you spastics will pay, amidst all of that "duckin me doe" bull****

If people are honest with themselves, 25% is very fair indeed. GGG is the real WBA champ, has sold out arenas in NYC, LA and London, is the most talked about active fighter in boxing, gets great numbers on HBO. Danny is the opposite.

However, there is basically no such thing as fair in boxing. And to make this fight, Team GGG are going to have to make concessions. Because Jacobs is not confident in winning this fight at all and wants to be paid serious money. Also because he is one of those special boxers who are advised by the great Al Haymon. If it's 50-50, so be it.

Agreed. Hope someone bids high enough to make it work.

                  you're right

the WBA just killed this fight in the exact same way the WBC killed Canelo/GGG.....

these clowns just don't get it, the WBC and the WBA are clearly second-rate organisations..... they are only 1-of-4 sanctioning bodies, and they matter not on the grand scale of things

as soon as they interfere, or rule in favor of one fighter, they kill it

no way should Jacobs consider them as part of his immediate future/career, when they insist that he should take short money.

He should negotiate with Saunders/Canelo, or maybe even Eubank.

                    In good faith? Definition needed.

Who says that K2 is not offering a larger purse during volontary negotiations than they will eventually bid at the purseoffer?

Now hateboi. Tell me what you think of Jacobs. He knew the split would be like this, so would you say he is ducking if he doesn't take it? Yes or no.
