Now hateboi. Tell me what you think of Jacobs. He knew the split would be like this, so would you say he is ducking if he doesn't take it? Yes or no.

      go ^^
GGG has never fought a media hyped boxer like Floyd or Canelo but he manuevered his career to earn belts that come with a level of respect.

Jacobs has a regular belt under GGG therefore he is his son.

how can you really know exact numbers in negotiations, just according to purse bids?

do you know that Haymon pays his fighters more money outside purses...just to compensate in the case the purse was low...and what I heard is that this would be the same case with Jacobs...K2 wins the bid and haymon pays his fighter more money to compensate.

I just hope this fight get done already...would be a shame if not...but I wont blame the fighters, I would blame the promoters.
A sellout of Barclay Center should be worth at least $2m (Garcia-Malignaggi apparently did over $1m at the box office for their fight), at least whatever Showtime was willing to put up for Jacobs-Quillin (which was aired on Showtime Championship Boxing/SHOExtreme), the possible interest from the UK/other international TV, potential event sponsors, etc.

No one likely knows absolute numbers at this point, but you can ballpark most things, to help build out a reasonable expectation.

Weigh that against what K2 is looking at for the fight; another sellout of MSG (after the first "sellout" with Lemieux had K2 only mentioning the merch numbers), HBO's money for the US TV rights, etc.

these clowns just don't get it, the WBC and the WBA are clearly second-rate organisations..... they are only 1-of-4 sanctioning bodies, and they matter not on the grand scale of things

as soon as they interfere, or rule in favor of one fighter, they kill it

no way should Jacobs consider them as part of his immediate future/career, when they insist that he should take short money.

He should negotiate with Saunders/Canelo, or maybe even Eubank.

yet that is EXACTLY what you were hoping they would do if they adjusted the purse split in Jacobs favor.

But they didnt. They didnt interfere, or change the rules to favor one fighter. And yet you STILL have to run your mouth. lol

                He knew the split.

Are you so blinded by hate, that you cannot at least try to explain yourself and relate to the very relevant question asked?

Why would he expect more than what is clearly stated in the WBA rules?

No GGG fan is celebrating if the fight doesn't happen, but lets put the blame on the fighter not taking the fight instead of the other guy. It's GGG's fault that Canelo vacated his belt, its GGG's fault that Jacobs vacated his belt... its GGG's fault that he wins every belt via "vacate", everyone else is innocent.
You notice how the Floyd F-@gs forget about "A Side Doe!" whenever it's convenient?

Yep, they should have had the experience/foresight to see that Team Bull**** (as usual) refused to negotiate in good faith in order to benefit their over-hyped fighter, and ruled accordingly.

they just ruled in favor of the manipulators who were unwilling to negotiate in good faith

Gennady's mother did not even wait until the negotiation period had ended before requesting an early purse-bid...... so everyone can clearly see what is happening.

But as usual, you fanboy f@gs couldn't care less if it benefits your hypejob.
