Basically. Except only one of them is considered a pound for pounder. I'm withholding judgement until we see what happened with negotiation. But for Golovkin, 2016 was quite disappointing and I'm just SMH if we're going on year #3 of the "Hanging on Canelo's tit hoping for some cream" movement.

when it became obvious that Team Golovkin were unwilling to negotiate in good faith, Team Jacobs knew that they were going to a purse-bid - whether Team Golovkin requested an early purse-bid or not, and they DID..... so Team Jacobs requested that the split be adjusted
