My understanding is that Haymon is no likely to bid on this fight, because he needs the money and the fight dates for the rest of his fighters, who are very inactive.

So there's not much to stop K2 from buying this for 6 million, at most, giving GGG 4.5 and Jacobs 1.5. I am not sure K2 can pay more than that and make a profit. If Jacobs refuses to fight for 2 he'll be stripped. I understand he wants 3, but he's not entitled to a 50/50 split because he doesn't have a fan base.

It's a tough situation where I don't necessarily blame either fighter for their positions.

so you are ignoring all the content of my posts i see. admitting defeat. he said he wanted 3 to 5 mill and reportedly turned down 3 million so i dont know how much he wants but its a ton. i assume its close to 5 million based on the evidence i have. someone asked him if he would figth for 5 millino and he couldnt even give them a firm yes. where is your evidence that jacobs wants to fight ggg? aside from saying i want to fight him then asking for insane money that would make the fight impossible to make/a financial loser.

I can't see this fight being made at all if the B-side wants more than 3 Million. It would just be impossible to work. Unless the winner gets 3 and the loser gets 2, but those type of deals are very rare in boxing.
