But at least it's an indication that he actually wants to fight and isn't going to fake real negotiations.
    Exactly and green sent.

I've never seen a fan base so adamant and proud on winning fights that have never actually been fought in the ring and placing so much honor on sparring stories

Did GGG say he's not a business man? Going by his own testimony, he should have no issue with a 70-30 split for the betterment of boxing and the fans.

Only real life cuckhold fans like yourself would agree and "understand" why this fight shouldn't happen over the bidness
You want WBA to break their own rules. Yes or no?

Smart? Should the WBA agree, which I highly doubt, it would make an ugly precedent that their rules are negotiable. See?

The WBA will allow the 70-30 split.

Once they do, you will be up in arms crying that they did and talking about who deserves what amount of money instead of enjoying the fight.

What kind of fan base is this?

Why would the WBA break their own rules? WHY?????

Bat, Why does it matter? Respectfully, you and others seem more concerned with GGG getting the money split he wants then actually making this fight.

If a sanctioning body breaks there own rules to facilitate a fight we as fans want, isn't that a good thing?

Even if they do break their rules, it still doesn't make sense for Jacobs to want a purse bid. If Jacobs gets 30% of a $5 Million bid (which is a huge bid for this fight) than he ends up with 1.5M, which is what he made again Quillin, and he says he wants more than that. Jacobs would make more money with an actual agreement. Maybe Golovkin gets 3M and Jacobs gets 2M, which is 40%.

The bottom line is, if Jacobs really wants the fight, it will happen. If he doesn't, it won't happen. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt and I think it will get made.

But deadline for purse bid nears and his team is crying to WBA for help. It's like wtf?

                    Now, watch this:

                    ... At 1:58:
Jacobs: When the money gets right and the opportunity gets right…

                    2:26:
Jacobs: (…) offer me the right money, we can do it this yesterday… they aren’t offering the right money right now…
Q: How much they are offering?

                    Jacobs:

                    ... Gimme a break...

No. I don't care what he or anybody else makes. I am trying to explain how this Works, and some of the suggestions in this thread is downright ******.

If a sanctioning body breaks it's own rules, it Means that they say their rules are worthless. Or worse that their rules are for sale. They are not promotors. They are a sanctioning body.

Imagine if they had a rule stating that a certain level of EPO or stanozolol is allowed and then they would just change the rule to something different for different fights. How would that look? What would happen to their integrity?
