If a sanctioning body breaks it's own rules, it Means that they say their rules are worthless. Or worse that their rules are for sale. They are not promotors. They are a sanctioning body.

Imagine if they had a rule stating that a certain level of EPO or stanozolol is allowed and then they would just change the rule to something different for different fights. How would that look? What would happen to their integrity?
You are right in theory. Your point about EPO, while correct, doesn't really apply here as those are rules about competition.

My point is regarding this fight if they were to break their rules regarding splits to make this fight happen I see that as a good thing. do you agree?

You seem to be saying you'd rather they stick to their rules even if those rules make it more difficult to finalize this particular fight. Am I correct?

I never want a sanctioning body to change rules regarding competition. I have no problem going around rules regarding compensation/purse bids if its done to make a fight that fans want.

every team can ask for a change in the splits...even Sulaiman(WBC) said this after Canelo vacated the title.

I just hope this fights gets made...and by next week we have the announcement.
From what I heard its all agreed and just some minor things are being worked out..

and the guy in the sherdog page...said that "someone" owed him money.. dont know what that really means..

no double standards and then you go on to say how ggg has to be different than every other figther and save boxing lmao. isn't that a double standard?

jacobs said he wanted 3-5 million to fight ggg last year...then later this year someone said would you fight him for 5 million and he said i just want to be happy. even if he only wants 3 million my point is still the same. ok 3 million for jacobs and how much for ggg? 8-9 million uh no way this fight is worth that much. 3 million for jacobs and 3 million for ggg? maybe that would get the fight done. would floyd ever do that....no but ggg has to. thats called a double standard. floyd took less money to fight worse fighters. you want ggg to take less money and fight better fighters. lmao! no double standards though oh no thats for sure.

ok so ggg accepts 70-30 purse bid recalibration...jacobs wont fight for less than 3 so jacobs gets 3 and ggg 7......where does this money come from? is this a secret super fight? is danny jacobs a secret superstar?

For the 3rd time, show me where Jacobs asked for 5 million dollars like you said he did.

I don't want an emotional post or a bunch of other rambling jibberish. Either provide a link or video showing where Daniel Jacobs asked for 5 million like you've been saying or stay exposed.

GGG is not a businessman. He is the savior of boxing and just wants to fight, per GGG's own testimony

70-30 is fine with Jacobs so it's fine with him.

My understanding is that Haymon is no likely to bid on this fight, because he needs the money and the fight dates for the rest of his fighters, who are very inactive.

So there's not much to stop K2 from buying this for 6 million, at most, giving GGG 4.5 and Jacobs 1.5. I am not sure K2 can pay more than that and make a profit. If Jacobs refuses to fight for 2 he'll be stripped. I understand he wants 3, but he's not entitled to a 50/50 split because he doesn't have a fan base.

It's a tough situation where I don't necessarily blame either fighter for their positions.

A fight is either makeable or it isnt, but wanting to see a split changed by a sanctioning body instead of being freely negotiated really just depends on which team you are siding with. Had GGG proposed the WBC changed their purse bid split re: Canelo this board would have went insane.

its not my fault you are a low information fan. the video is out there. he said 3 to 5 million...if he was happy with 3 why would he say 3 to 5 million? just say 3 so that is suspect but either way my point is the same which you completely and utterly ignored of course. 3 million for jacobs....and a 70-30 split in ggg's favor equals 7 million for ggg...where does this money come from? instead of blasting jacobs for making crazy demands you are blasting ggg for not giving in to crazy demands. like i said double standards.

yeah 70-30 as long as he gets 3 million...so 10 million for both fighters aka not possible aka fight dead but instead of blaming jacobs you are blaming ggg because he's the savior of boxing whatever that means. sounds like some crap you made up so you can pretend your boxers aren't ducking.

but wait ggg and k2 should lose money because they are doing this for fun. they are the saviors of boxing! boxing is not a business! its only a business when we are defending cowards. when someone just wants to get fair market value for a fight....INSANITY BREAKS OUT. JACOBS DESERVES THIS MONEY BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!
