That is like saying since GBP did the Canelo fight vs Brook that they somehow now have brook. SMH. All those guys have independent promoters and can fight guys like Lomachenko (which Rocky Martinez did through his promoter PRBB since Haymon had nothing for him). Huck just fought in Germany etc etc.

as for Matchroom, Hearn bashes Haymon every chance he can get for keeping DeGale and Selby on the shelf. Lets not pretend they have this great relationship lol.
Why is this oily bi.tch trolling so hard for Arum??

Golden Boy didn't do Canelo vs Brook, so there goes that point. Kell Brook has had at least three fights on US TV, and HBO is now pondering bringing Brook back for fights with Cotto or Canelo (even with that, Eddie Hearn isn't going to hang up the phone if a fight that makes sense on Showtime opens up for Brook).

Joshua can fight Parker or Klitschko, or any other heavyweight on the planet, and the fight would still be aired in the US on Showtime (with Deontay Wilder and other heavyweight fighters tied to Haymon as options going forward).

HBO hasn't shown any interest in airing any of the fighters that you've listed; ignore the point if you want.

How many 2016 Olympians have been signed at this point, to begin with? 40 medals were handed out for boxing (and not all of those medalists are going to be turning pro).

Shakur Stevenson, Gary Antuanne Russell, Charles Conwell, Antonio Vargas and Nico Hernandez, on just the US team alone, have yet to sign with anyone (Carlos Balderas is a Mexican American fighter from Santa Maria, CA; he's likely going to sign with Oscar).

Move things to world amateur boxing, and look at the number of top amateurs, on the verge of turning pro, who have yet to sign with anyone.

        nice try though

Anthony Joshua was literally just signed to a broadcast deal with Showtime, so what the **** are you talking about? Klitschko, unless there was some extension signed that no one anywhere mentioned, is under no obligation to fight on HBO.

Canelo Alvarez fights on HBO because he's signed an exclusive deal to fight on HBO; Bob Arum has no fighters at Alvarez's weight and literally has nowhere near the influence at HBO than he had even 2 years ago.

Showtime does a massive amount of business with Haymon and folks connected to Haymon, and Haymon has WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, Haymon has relationships that seems set to give any fight US TV, and Haymon has relationships that should help deliver 4 of the 15 challengers for Joshua's IBF heavyweight title.

compulsion not being necessary, Joshua's fight (regardless of opponent) is likely to be aired in the US on Showtime, with Haymon being able to offer his own handful of fights (to go along with the other fights that can be made) going forward.

Because Joshua and Brook are already money-makers in their home markets without Haymon; Haymon can help get TV exposure in the US for them (and line up the fighters he does have signed), but that's about it.

James Degale didn't have the profile that Joshua or Brook have in the UK; Haymon offered him the opportunity to become more known in the US and earn more money, so he signed with Haymon.

They don't need haymon for us tv exposure either. they both already have that.
