I know it's crap, you know it's crap, but that doesn't change the way it'll be recorded. The rules haven't been changed specifically for Golovkin, he's merely the beneficiary of the absurd multiplication of titles. And yes. Absolutely. There should be one title per division. And 'disrespecting Hopkins'? You're probably more concerned than the old man is himself. He's secure in his legacy and history will make of Golovkin what it will. That's for the boxing fans and pundits of the future to decide when they look back with a cooler eye.
