no he didnt read it again he said over 200k but that its been reported as low as 62k by im sure ggg apologists he did say ggg ppv didnt even reach 100k so even if u take this however u want canelo still more then doubled ggg even by glasers numbers with a worse known opponent and worse matchup then ggg ppv. u guys can try as hard as u want but the reality is canelo is the way bigger star period

Like someone mentioned last night, PPVs used to be for mega-fights only. Now any motherf**ker with a name they try to put on PPV, regardless who the opponent is.

Canelo/Smith is a regular subscription HBO fight. Making that **** a $70 PPV is ludicrous. Canelo's a really, really good fighter, but he's just not worthy of the PPV spotlight on his own. He's just not. Only his fans will get his PPVs when he's fighting just an average guy. The casuals, as much as it pains me to say it, are the ones that make PPVs a true success. Casuals will get the mega-fights. But they'll have zero interest in a Canelo fight when he's fighting a guy that they've never even heard of.
