If they want 40%, they are ducking the fight imo...golovkin is not a big enough name for 40%...maybe 25, 30 MAX.

So where are all the GayLoveKin fan boys now who say "it's more than he's ever made" when it comes to offers k2 has made that others rejected? I guess it's ok to turn down 10 million plus for a guy who's fought 1 decent name...that happened to be a WW.

Canelo is young and has the backing of HBO to sell whatever bs ppv he wants to put on because he brings in mexican fans. Ggg has mexican fans but they don't buy his ppv's. Canelo can wait out Ggg and fight the next big boxing star because time is on his side. Ggg has maybe 2-3 big fights left in his career which will not generate anywhere close to him fighting Canelo. Canelo can literally fight anyone he wants and sell it.
Even if Canelo waits out and fights 3 huge PPV's later on in his career he would still have not earned the money he would have gotten from THIS fight. A $20 mill loss is a $20 mill loss no matter what he earns in later fights.

You people are clueless when it comes to business and money

But according to some posters here since Jacobs is a network fighter and the B side he should accept whatever crumbs Loeffler offers lol
well if he does not except it then doesnt he lose his regular title?

              yes.

but im hoping that Haymons cash flow issues make this a situation where they can make a deal and it doesnt have to go to bid......

but if Jacobs is holding out for $3 million then maybe it does go to bid.....

              we'll know soon enough.......

Now you see who the real one making this fight difficult. First refused to drop weight (154 or 168 doe ) now that weight is settled he's pricing himself out of his biggest payday. LMAO
IF you take a look at the Khan fight where Canelo made 3.5 and gave khan 2, it's basically a 70-30 split for SOMEONE MUCH LESSER THAN GGG.

So how come for a bigger fight, the split is even less?

That's what we call 'Opportunity cost'

"but he is B side!" You ****** ***s should be out mowing lawns insteaed of discussing BUSINESS because you know nothing about it.
Bro, you think Golovkin is gonna be the only hype job for Canelo to cash in on at 26 years old?

It's ****ing common sense. It's not even business. I don't know what the **** you're talking about.

Golovkin on the other hand, doesn't have that luxury. Again, common sense.

Barring a freak accident, or divine intervention Canelo will make the money up and then some.

Golovkin.... Not so much.... Again... Common sense, not business sense.
