I told ya ll look at GGGs history and see all the big fights that he killed by bonehead management. 35 and don't have a single relevant fight hasn't made 1 fight fans have asked for. Numerous fighters and promoters called K2 out for lies and scream how difficult they are to make a fight with for GGG. Same old story call out bigger names to trick the public then phuk up negotiations and turn around and make worthless mismatches. The same bait and switch. Get ready for another wade fight that's all he will ever give his fans. SMH

so now 10 mill is a crazy offer?? canelo earned 12 mill vs floyd on a much bigger fight than this that generated almost twice the money, and he event had to go down in weight... but the red kid really wanted that fight and it didnt take much to get it done...

Yes, $10m is BS if Canelo was to earn 4-5 that amount, when he can't make that against anyone else, and they'll be fighting for GG's belts.

There's nothing wrong with Canelo getting the bigger share. But no promoter/manager on this planet is going to accept a flat fee for a fight of this magnitude that will be one of the biggest grossing fights of all time.

Let's do Simple Math. Ggg will Stand to make $15-20 million after its all said and done. I'll make it easier for you. Against mayweather, Canelo made $5 million vs mayweathers $40 million. That means they made a combined $45 million which came out to Canelo 11% and mayweather 89% with Canelo bringing 2 JMW belts to the table. This fight also sold 2.1 million ppv's which was the highest sold ppv at the time. Next example: Canelo vs cotto- Canelo made $5 million vs cottos $15 million for a combined $20 million. Do the math. Canelo made 25% and cotto 75%. Are you still with me? Present day Canelo vs ggg. Ggg will make $15-$20 million vs Canelos $30-$40 million. This is all depends on how good the ppv sells. Let's do the math. Let's go low end (ggg) vs high end (canelo). If Canelo makes $40 million and ggg makes $15 million that's a combined total of $55 million. Ggg makes 27% and Canelo makes 73 %. Now let's look at GGG's high end vs Canelos low end. If ggg makes $20 million and Canelo makes $30 million that's a combined $50 million. Ggg gets 40% and Canelo gets 60%. Still following?! Now let's look at both fighters high end. If ggg gets $20 million and Canelo gets $40 million that's $60 million. Ggg gets 33% and Canelo gets 67%. This is as simple as I can explain it so you and every ggg fan can understand. 8 figures does not mean 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,or 9 million. It means a guaranteed at least $10 million right of the back plus a ppv percentage. Canelo took a guaranteed $5 million for cotto and mayweather. He's offering ggg at least double that for a fight that's not guaranteed to sell 2 million ppv's

This is something that this ******s understand but won't admit....cause they're terrified the tables may turn on GGG and Canelo May finally regain the credibility he lost.

They know all the sacrifices Canelo made and how much he had to concede to make the fights he wanted (Mayweather & Cotto)out of the woodwork comes GGG and try to change the game without paying his dues WTF!

Exactly Mayweather made 70 mill vs Canelo, Ginger only made 13 mill roughly 10% even though he was a proven commodity (hence Mayweather trying to keep him in his undercard as a condition for their fight to be made) GGG makes 97K PPVs and demands 40% WHO IN THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY ARE????

I agree 10m is pretty good but there's no flat fees in mega fights. You do that to put up roadblocks like Floyd's infamous 40m flat fee offer.

I can't help but think about Bernard Hopkins in all of this. He knew he had to take short money against De la Fishnets, but he also knew that 8 figures is nothing to be sneezed at and a win would make him a superstar which it did.

I'm a BIG Triple G fan and feel that Canelo's team have avoided him, but in this case he should just take the 10 mill, beat the crap out of him and move on to other fights. manny's team was able to negotiate a % because Manny was a huge PPV star in his own right, something that Golovkin can't claim at this stage.
