I'm really not joking. He should just take whatever money they offer. Gennady needs this fight and I have no doubt in my mind he will stop Canelo.

He can have all the chips on his side for the rematch.

He is gonna retire a multimillionaire and will be seen as the most avoided fighter of this era.

If he beats Canelo, it won't even end up as his top win. He'll fight Degale and Zurdo and both will be bigger wins in terms of fighting talented fighters.

Except he is getting more and more with each fight. And he has three major endorcement deals.

Canelo is already suffering financially with the Khan and Smith fights selling like crap.

They're talking doing next fight on HBO. That doesn't happen if he's selling well in ppv. They refused to release the numbers.

When Floyd was the face of boxing he was doing ppv no matter what.

This fight is already biggest in boxing, unless they offer him 15-20 million, it's sabotaging the fight.
canelo has a contract to fullfill, he has to fight on hbo at least once a year, hbo needs to please his suscribers too, plus atract new ones...

He also sold the fight in a way GGG can't possibly do. The bottom line is Floyd took short money, sold the FUCK out of the fight, and went in and won. GGG can do same, except he will not be able to generate as much sales as Floyd IMO for a number of reasons.

Should, would, could. When people look back at fighters it's what they did that matters and Golovkin hasn't done shit.

OK. well we agree. GGG might lose out on this one but he will more than make it up on the next one (and in additional endorsements) if he handles his business.

A point many of the GGG fans will overlook or ignore.

You can lie to yourself but you can't lie to the ppl...GGG will NEVER fight at 168. So no DeGale or Z fight.

He will also have to buy tickets to ever get in the boxing Hall of fame.
