I would give GGG between $5-7 mil to fight Canelo if I was DLH. If GGG wants to be a star he'll have to go with the flow. Sometimes you have to take less money to put yourself in position to make more money. A good example of that was Floyd fighting DLH. So we'll see what GGG camp decides.

When Floyd fought Oscar he was the undisputed #1 P4P fighter in the world, already won titles in numerous weight classes and beaten big names in boxing, and sold far more PPVs then GGG and Oscar was at the end of his career no longer on ANYBODY'S top p4p lists and merely a part time fighter. And still Oscar was the A side because despite all that he was the bigger draw. Floyd wanted a catchweight and a bigger split but he was the B side and Oscar demanded the fight was at Oscar's weight Not Floyd's and not a catchweight, Oscar demanded most of the money. Oscar made Floyd an offer which he could either take or leave it. Floyd could of pulled a GGG and dragged the fight on for years hoping maybe to collect a few more nickles and get Oscar to drop weight. But that's called short money and no guarantee that Oscar wouldn't of been clipped off by somebody else. Instead Floyd gave in to all terms to make the fight NOW not later. Gave in so he could get the world wide exposure and the spoils of war if he won the fight. He won and from then on he was the A side in every fight for the rest of his career where he could make the demands making exponentially more money then the few peanuts he could of held out for if he passed on Oscar's demands.

Floyd is smarter and has more balls then GGG does. GGG has lost big fights because he refuses to budge on weight or money. And worse is GGG is pushing 40 he's not a young kid who can afford to waste years in his prime over "nickles" and "weight". Whoever is advising GGG is dumb as rocks. Should of never demanded the fight be at 160 which was never going to happen and now setting the door to wait even longer over money when he needs Canelo not the other way around. When he is ready to agree to the Canelo's demands the fight will happen.
