  • The trainer is clearly Trolling all of you with this statement. He probably reads these forums and knows it will get under a lot of peoples skin.

I don't disagree with you and have never voiced support of this fight but I also give creidt where it is due to Brook. Should he beat Golovkin by some grace of god give that man credit for doing so. I do give Brook credit for manning up and doing this and consider it crazy but I also blame Eddie Hearn for this fight solely.

I couldn't believe he posted that garbage either. I think he reread it and realized how dumb it sounds.

              • Anyone who thinks that GGG isn't going to eventually move up to 168 isn't seeing the whole picture. Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, & maybe you can throw in Eubank are all fights GGG has to have before he can officially move up to 168. GGG is campaigning at 160. If he leaves the division now, there will always be the narrative at the back of people's minds that he didn't do everything he could to prove he's the best 160 (aka, they'll say he ducked those fights). But that's just 4 fights. After 4 fights, he will have no choice but to move to 168. And don't doubt that he'll fight Zurdo before he gets all 4 of those 160 fights. Those who love to throw shade on GGG as a boxer are just plain hating. The KO-streak proves his skills. And although the Brook fight is a mismatch, it's not a cherry-pick. It's the result of circumstances that are beyond GGG's control (guys who ducked him). Now, demanding he get better fights is not a bad thing...it's actually what all boxing fans should want. However, GGG can't force these guys into the ring...they have to sign on their own volition. But if you hate on GGG without ever acknowledging that he got ducked left-&-right by boxers (not just within his own division), then you are always going to be considered either a hater or a casual fan. This is boxing, folks! You let your fists do the talking. And until GGG gets unseated from his throne, no one can argue against results. If GGG truly was a hype train, why aren't there countless guys jumping at the chance to fight him? Food for thought...doesn't the same "results" argument apply to FMJ?

I predict GGG adds another KO to his resume come Saturday.

Football is in, so I'm out.

I DON'T!!! And how many years do I have to give you Sam Hinkie??? Unlike the good ppl of Philadelphia I'm not gonna give you a 100 years to have one good one and brag about.

He won't move up to 168 within the next 2 years I'll bet on that Sam Jr.

Ok. I wish there was a line out there that you can bet that. But I can't help you out on that.

If we're thinking about his career path, and assuming that GGG fights 3 to 4 times a year, he could potentially get the Jacobs fight out of the way before the year ends...that will leave only 3 fights left at 160. That's in a year...and only if the other 3 are ready to step up. It will be a foregone conclusion that once GGG acquires the WBO, he'll be looking to move up and start campaigning at 168. I mean, the guy spars with LHW's...I don't think he's afraid of SMW's. The one thing i see delaying this move is the pursuit of big-money fights. Let's say that Canelo stalls the fight yet again for another year...then there's going to be a chance that GGG sticks around at 160 in order to chase Canelo down. And it can be assumed that GGG will keep fighting into his late 30's. That means he'll have 3 to 4 years of fighting, or around 9 to 16 fights left in him. There isn't enough competition at 160 in order to satisfy his slate. Therefore, it becomes more likely that he moves up to 168 before his career is over.

I'm thinking of being VERY generous and giving you RIGHT NOW 3-1 odds in favor of GGG of Fighting ANY SMW at a TRU 168 lbs. After EVERY fight it goes down 1. You game you POS LIAR!!! At GGG rate of 4 fights a year your going to OWE me BIG Sam Hinkie..
