Pretty sure BJS screwed himself over in getting the Canelo fight when he turned down fighting Rosado/Munroe/Lemieux. That was supposed to be a fight on Canelo's undercard in order to build pub for Canelo's next fight against the winner. But BJS turned it down. And now he's struggling to find an opponent to stay active. You ask why they made an offer way about what they actually did offer?...neither of us was in the negotiating room, but it seems likely that BJS would have also gotten a share of the pvp & other income generated...which could have pushed that number to the number they specified. BJS doesn't seem to want to elaborate on what went on in the negotiations. But Loeffler is more than happy to reveal what happened. That's the only thing we can go on. So, if BJS doesn't want to account himself on something he said, then what reason would anybody have to believe anything he says? At this point, Loeffler & K2 is much more reliable a source than BJS, who shows no sign of wanting to get back in the ring.If they don't have the funds, then why in the hell would they have claimed an offer way above what they actually did offer?
And what fans is he gonna gain? 97k more? Lol.
The fact is that Saunders has options...more options than GayLoveKin, because he'll get a Canelo fight long before GayLoveKin does for millions more. As I also mentioned, he has the last belt golovkin wants, so he can hold out. If Canelo gets that belt, he'll have that much more in negotiations later on.
Actually, I think it's a joke that you're even trying to defend BJS. The guy is a joke. He turned down fights he could win. He didn't even try to look Eubank Jr's way when he was looking for a guy to fight in a voluntary defense. And I'll tell you one thing: GGG's ppv status just went up quite a bit by fighting in London. You can add a bunch of British fans to his growing fanbase. Just give up your defense of Saunders. He turned down the path to Canelo. All he has left is the path to GGG...& he clearly doesn't want to take the beating GGG would give him. Simply no reason for anybody to defend BJS. You're only defending BJS because you hate GGG. Way to be a boxing fan.Comment
